Hypnotherapy

A naturally occurring state of heightened awareness, hypnotherapy, can increase memory and concentration, self-esteem, athletic ability, reduce stress, enhance creativity, eliminate fears, and modify behaviors. When you are under hypnosis, you will feel very relaxed, fully aware of your environment and in full control of yourself. Hypnosis cannot make you do anything you do not want to do. You are able to make decisions and you are always in control.

The therapist gently guides you into a meditative, highly focused state of mind where you by-pass the conscious intellect and directly enter the sub-conscious. Here the mind is receptive to positive ideas, which allows preferred changes through the use of appropriate suggestions.

Have you ever driven somewhere and arrived thinking, “I don’t remember the drive here”? Or been watching TV and not remembered the plot of the show? Well, you have gone in and out of hypnosis naturally. Hypnosis is a very safe and natural state of mind.

This age old therapy is a safe and comfortable method of healing self-defeating, caustic behaviors and patterns that are often stuck in your subconscious from past experiences. These are the limiting beliefs that keep you in an undesirable relationship, or in a job you want to leave. When this occurs, you could become irritable, quick to anger, depressed, and lose your zest for life. Suddenly, the glass is always half empty; instead of half full.

Hypnotherapy reconstructs negative thinking into positive, healthy thoughts. These beliefs then turn into choices and actions that create the life you most want. The power of your mind can then facilitate desired behavioral and emotional changes. It’s with these changes that hypnotherapy can effectively accelerate transformation, empowerment, growth, and personal healing.
