Breathwork
Come; and Just Breathe.
Limiting beliefs and negative emotions can restrict breath and energy flow causing emotional blockages and energy to become stagnant. These imbalances may cause physical illness or dis-ease, or emotional distress.
With breathwork, you will learn how to use your breath to release blockages, integrate your emotions and transform your beliefs. Your breath is the key to free flowing energy and making positive choices.
In breathwork, there is little talking, which can be more comforting for people who do not want to share too much of their story. This bypasses the conscious mind and works with core feelings. All that's required is to focus on the four circular breaths which are taught in session or in class. A circular breath is a breath with no pauses. There is a constant flow of oxygen to the lungs as you inhale and exhale with no holding of the breath.
The four types of breath you will learn are: 1) full and slow, 2) full and fast,
3) shallow and slow, and 4) shallow and fast. With each type of breath the mind reaches a different level of consciousness where integration can take place. Integration happens when you explore and embrace your feelings and emotions; instead of trying to bury or ignore them.
"If you don't know how to integrate your feelings, you will suppress the
unpleasant ones. This does not make them disappear; instead they remain in the mind and body causing behavior and situations that recreate the very
emotions the person is trying to escape." (Leonar, J, Dec. 94)
"Breathwork enables you to 'gently and voluntarily' reexperience your suppressed feelings and integrate them. By changing your relationship to your feelings about something, you change your relationship to the thing itself." (Leonard, J.)
Breathwork can free you from limiting beliefs that can cause disharmony in the body, mind, and spirit; so then you can make better choices for your life, create more peace daily, and be your true self. Just breath. Just be.
